Under-19 Girls Competition: Hawks, Eagles and Stroud stay 100%
NEM Hawks made it six-wins-from-six when they beat Warrington Wolves 25-21 in the latest round of matches in Girls Under-19 North League.
Peninsula forfeited their match against Wolves, meaning Warrington were handed a 10-0 win and all three points. Warrington jump ahead of Peninsula – who don’t receive any points after forfeiting – into third spot on goal difference.
In the Girls’ South 1 League West London Eagles, like Hawks have a 100% record. Eagles made it four-wins-from-four beating Bideford 15-11 and Essex 35-6. Stroud, in second place, are also yet to lose, edging past Cambridge 24-23 to record three straight wins.
Poole Phoenix put two opening defeats behind them to win both their matches in this round. A 20-17 win over Medway Falcons was followed by a 31-9 victory against Islington. Bideford sit below Poole on goal difference, moving onto eight points after beating Essex 20-13.
